Cece and Yun come from different backgrounds, are educated in different disciplines and systems, and have lived different lives. From every angle on the surface, all you see are the differences. We dress differently, we talk differently, we cook differently, we laugh differently. But we are the same, even identical in our humanness or woman-ness.
We have the same concerns…. from the cat, to the world peace; from the wellbeing of children to woman’s challenges….We experienced life’s seemingly unbearable pains, many defeats and triumphs; we fall, we cry, we despair, we struggle, we stand up, we ask, we seek, we laugh… We have fought many different battles in our separate lives, but we share the same pain and wisdom, the blissful growth and loving compassion. …
We want to share all these with you, because we believe no matter how different you appear to be and what life struggles you are going through, we are one the same. We hope our little lighthearted insights will bring a smile to your face, warm feelings to your heart. Because we care and we love!
We are easterner and westerner; we are artist and scientist, counselor and engineer, life and conflict coach and educator, mother and woman, friend and professional, we are kid and girl, we are serious about life and seriously silly about life. We do not give advice unless you ask, we do not tell 7 steps and 5 how tos for success! Life is so much simpler than 7 steps and 5 how tos, and so much more complex at the same time!
“Many have asked us about our writing process. We live on either sides of the city….One on the East and One on the West. We do not see each other very often…but we phone and chat and email until we are silly! We take our stories from our lives. Many tell us they like to guess which Who wrote the post…but rarely is one post written by one Who! We seem like twins separated at birth…we seem to be on the same wavelength finishing each other’s sentences…. our ideas normally build upon one another, yet flow like one person… Usually One has an idea and then we write back and forth on the post… nipping here and tucking there ….sometimes one Who really edits up a storm…and makes the post even better than it was initially…and we both breathe a sigh and are thankful for the other!
Yun is a conflict coach, trainer and mediator, and is passionate about family and children emotional safety. Cece is working with people with disabilitites, teaches non-violence, supervises 40 staff and is passionate about health and fitness ,writing , cycling and her art.

Who’s :
I enjoyed reading your stories on the DCF – they’re a sweet slice of life. It’s too bad the DCF kicked you out (but I also understand why)- I bookmarked your new site and will checkout your life tales now and then.
Take care – Shotsie
