“The Whos say that there is no better time than Christmas to start a blog!
Cece and Yun knew for a long time that they would work together in some kind of capacity simply because they are so different yet so similar. They talked about the “Who” the “what” and “how”….they tried other ventures with other people but it was unsatisfying. One day Yun said to Cece, “Cece! We have the Who! We need a good Who to get this off the ground.
Yun said, “We have the Who…it’s you and me!”
You see, Cece and Yun have accomplished many things in their lives. They have traveled around the world many times. They have studied the teachings from eastern to western. They have received the highest education anyone could get in the fields of physics, Ph.D. and psychology, MS. They have married, had kids, divorced, and dated and “re-dated!” They have tried all fads in different eras. They have worked for the future 500 companies, small non-profit organizations, taught school and they have started their own busiensses… But, what’s most valuable to them is not the titles they have earned, the money they have made, the recognition they have received. What they treasure most day by day is the love and acceptance that true friendship generously showers. They decided to do a blog to share their friendship with more people/ Yun says, “Even though our little who voices are tiny, we can be very powerful when we speak together. ”
They decided that day, over the tea, that they wanted to speak the voices out loud that have accompanied their own lives day by day: uplifting, down to earth, compassionate, warm, accepting.
Cece is tickled, and Yun is amused
While the “Whos” kept coming out of Yun’s mouth (in between sipping the tea), Cece tried to stifle her giggling (almost choked over her tea) because all she could think of were the Whos in Whoville! She giggled and wiggled and remembered The Grinch and the famous Dr. Seuss tale…she saw, in her mind’s eye….the Whos all singing and merry despite their difficulties….and she smiled and laughed out loud at Yun’s reference to the Whos. She was not sure that Yun knew who the Whos were.
The message of this story is that the real things in this world can never be bought and we create our own reality regardless of the circumstances around us.
The Whos ask “How can we shift our perspective and create a wonderful and productive day right now?”
